Popsie’s Story

Popsie’s Story

Popsie came to K9 mid December, she went directly to the vets as her eye was damaged and bulging. After 2 weeks at the vet, she came back to us, she is blind in the one eye. I brought her back to my house as she was still shy and scared. She went from strength to strength and has grown to love my husband who she attached herself to. In February she had severe constipation and needed vet help again. She was put on to 2 types of medication and special food. In May she was sterilized and it was confirmed that she has an abnormally large intestine. She will need the medication and special food for the rest of her life. She is a smaller than normal kitten with short legs. We have now decided that she is ready to find her forever home. Since being on the medication, her coat is much smoother and she plays like a normal kitten. She is use to dogs, and enjoys playing with other kittens that I have fostered. She would benefit living with another playful kitten or cat. She is still a little shy when approached but she does enjoy jumping on laps and loves to sleep on the bed. Her medication is very cheap however the food is WD which is around €23 for 1.5kg, but the bag lasts about 1.5 months.
